Firsthand Experience, Client-Focused Leadership

Marc brings a rare perspective to his work. As a former Community Association Board President, he knows firsthand the challenges that boards face. That experience has shaped his entire practice philosophy—combining technical mastery with empathy, transparency, and results-driven advocacy. His leadership style has guided Schneider Buchel into a firm where clients feel supported, valued, and confident in the outcome of their legal matters.

Beyond his work at the firm, Marc is a frequent lecturer and published authority in national outlets such as The New York Times, Habitat Magazine, and The Cooperator. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Condominiums and Cooperatives Committee and is a member of the NYC Bar Association’s Cooperative and Condominium Law Committee.

As the former president of a community association board, I understand the need for a partner you can trust, who understands what you are going through and how to deal with every situation and challenge you may face.

Building Communities, Not Just Cases

Marc is passionate about building communities inside and outside the legal world. Under his leadership, Schneider Buchel has grown into a departmentalized firm where each attorney focuses on a particular area of community association law, ensuring clients always receive targeted representation. His focus is not only on winning cases, but on strengthening the communities that trust him with their most important issues.

Marc is also active in professional and civic organizations, including serving as Co-Chair to the New York State Bar Association’s Condominiums & Cooperatives Committee; legal advisor to the Great Neck Co-op and Condominium Council and as a past president and current CAI Western New York Chapter board member; among others. His deep commitment to education and mentorship continues to shape the next generation of attorneys in this field.
